Ash Narain
Ash is Director - Negotiations and Execution Management. He heads our front office efforts, and leads the team that interacts with each of the customers we represent. His responsibilities include proposition location, selection and presentation. He handles deals, from when they are originated, to their execution and finally through culmination. He has formidable networks and relationships with bankers, investment bankers, private equity professionals across North America, Western Europe, Asia and the Middle East. On behalf of JCM, Ash is presently responsible for the capital raising requirements of an entertainment company in the UK, a blue chip management led private equity firm in New York, a large resort developer in South America, a fast growing real estate fund in the United States, a number of publicly traded companies listed on the Toronto, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Indian stock exchanges, among others. In the past he led the firm's efforts in setting up relationships between some of the largest and best known debt management companies in the UK and outsourcing vendors across India, South Africa, the UK itself, the United States and Morocco.
He read law at the Symbiosis Law School, Pune - a leading Indian law school. He is proficient with Civil Laws, Criminal Laws, Laws of Contracts, International Laws, Intellectual Property Laws and Commercial Laws. At school, Ash was India's top scorer for a number of subjects, for the CBSE Board Examinations.
An avid reader, sportsman and adventurer, Ash is also keenly interested in Current Affairs, especially relating to the global economy, world politics and discoveries about the Universe.
V Jai
V Jai served the central Government of India for 32 years in various senior level capacities. Now retired, he is Director - Direction and Policy at JCM. He also presides over our Compliance and Contracts Management functions. He brings his vast experience to play while helping the firm decide over the best course of action on micro and macro level affairs. The firm benefits greatly by his insight, Governmental relationships and his deep understanding of Governmental affairs. The firm takes significant guidance from the yearly guidelines provided by him. He is deeply involved in proposition selection and analysis. His other responsibilities include communication and coordination with our advisors, lawyers and accountants. He has invested significant funds into the firm and is our second largest shareholder, following Ash Narain.
When he finds time, V Jai enjoys watching cricket, writing prose and listening to Indian Classical music.
He is married and is the father of two children.
Raj Kabir
Raj Kabir is the Head of Online Communications and Strategies. His role is to maximise the firm's benefit from the Internet, Social Media and online communication practices and strategies. Raj's involvement has led to considerable innovation in the manner in which we communicate and reach out to clients and handle them. His strategies have proven themselves to greatly improve efficiency, time management and our reach. At a very early stage Raj appreciated the benefit the internet and its applications could have on network driven businesses and developed modes and mechanisms to create simple, workable systems. As a result, we are able to reach to a vast number of geographies and business sectors in a manner that wouldn't have been possible a decade earlier.
Raj travels extensively and is often shuttling between India, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Africa.
He is deeply interested in Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics and Astrophysics.
